It entitles for a study loan to study in Germany. Non-Germans are entitled if they fulfil certain criteria. Both Eu and non-EU residents are entitles to receive (http://www.bafoeg-rechner.de/FAQ/paragraph/8.php). It is believed popularly that it is difficult to get this loan as a non-EU student though. Also, one must be less than 30 years to receive this loan. The loan is for those who have lived in Germany or plan to stay for longer duration in Germany. The loan repayment must begin within 5 years, after the completion of the study for which loan is received. Also, 50% of the amount is to be paid back interest free.
