There are over 380 officially recognized universities in 175 towns and cities throughout Germany, and they offer a total of over 15,000 study program.
Course options
-As an undergraduate, one can take first academic degree (this is referred to as an undergraduate course) and complete a Bachelor study program in Germany
-One can gain experience abroad by spending a few semesters in Germany within the framework of an exchange program with home university
-After graduating from home university, one can take a Master's degree in Germany
-One can do a doctorate degree in Germany

Of particular interest to foreign students are international Bachelor, Master and PhD program that are offered at German universities. Lectures and examinations are available in English and German.
